Congratulations to Victoria and Steve who have been selected as our Van-Tastic SA Ambassadors. Check out their winning video.
Victoria is a fun-loving English gal and Steve is a adventurous American. They met New Years Eve last year in Portugal and have been travelling together ever since. She is a broadcast journalism graduate and he is a techy web designer and together they think they have just the right chemistry to make an excellent Van-Tastic team. According to Victoria they are “up for absolutely anything” and not afraid to make a fool of themselves… Sounds like our kinda couple!
Desparate to avoid the dreary 9-5, they bought a one way ticket to Bali where they embarked on a working holiday trip of a lifetime and now they are ready for OZ.
They just can’t wait to experience the great South Australian outback, see the wildlife on Kangaroo Island and guzzle some of those Barossa great reds. The question is will they pluck up the nerve to dive with the great whites?

The Americans are taking on Tassie! The dynamic duo of Dara Simkin and Catherine Fleming, friends from Florida will be hitting the road for the Van-Tastic Adventures roadtrip through Tasmania.
Check out their winning video where they go looking for Geoff the campervan. Their search has paid off as they will find him waiting in Melbourne for their Australian adventure. Follow this energetic and animated pair as they go bushwalking through the rainforest, explore remote beaches, catch the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and sample some of the local brews in Tasmania.
Get filming! There are still 3 legs of the adventure up for grabs. Send in your video for the Van-Tastic South Australia roadtrip by November 29th.

So it will be Tim (a right geezer from London) and his secret weapon- his Aussie mates – boarding Geoff for the Van-Tastic Victoria Adventure! Tim plans to hook up with several of his antipodean mates at various stages whilst in Vic to help him discover the array of delights Victoria has to offer.
Will they fall in love with the penguins? Will they surf “Point Break”? Will they make it out alive from the beer and wine tasting regions?
Only time will tell…..

The sun was shining at Calypso Backpackers in Cairns as Hamish and Adam, our Van-Tastic Queensland team met Geoff for the first time…it was love at first site!
Their first week on the road has been jam-packed with scuba diving-bungee jumping-crochunting-crabstabbing-whitewaterrafting-helcicopterflying adventures, and they are still hungry for more……

Congratulations Kirsty & Carly!
The girls will pick up Geoff in Brisbane, cross the border and kick start their adventure in NSW with diving, kayaking and beaching in beautiful Byron Bay …ahhh the dolphins, the whales!
We loved their fun video , and can’t wait to see some of their acrobatics on the road!
But there are still 5 Van-Tastic Adventures up for grabs people, so get busy with your submissions….next deadline is August 30 for Van-Tastic Victoria (a helicopter flight over the 12 Apostles? playing with the penguins? music festivals anyone…?)

Geoff is currently being escorted up the East Coast from Sydney all the way to Cairns by the delightful Alicia and Kirsten from the US. They are taking Geoff to meet the first Vantastic Team – Hamish and Adam who are currently enroute from Greece!
It’s only been 3 days and the girls have surfed Bondi Beach, sailed with whales to a live didgeridoo sound track at Port Stephens, hung 10 in Yamba and threw a Vantastic party in Byron Bay!
Hmmm, the girls are setting the pace….have you got what it takes to be Vantastic!??
